At the moment, is not possible to disable "Messages" as you mentioned. However, we know that many customers, like you, use the Messenger for other purposes rather than sending and receiving messages. Our Product Team have this into consideration but currently, we don't have a planned release time or confirmation if this will be available. I'll make sure to flag this to our @Product Wishlist to reinforce that.
As a workaround, you can turn off the option "Let visitors/users start a conversation" so customers can't contact you from the "Send us a message" button 👇

Oseas is there any update on adding this? We would like to use Checklists but also don’t plan on or want to have “Messages” show. It feels like we should be able to toggle that section off since everything else in that portal is able to be turned off.
