Intercom bulk outbound messaging

Question

Can we upload a list of users' email addresses to intercom for bulk emailing?	Should the users previously have existed in intercom or can they be any person who is currently, or has previously used our product?	What are the best practices for executing this type of bulk communication?	What are the exact steps we need to follow to achieve this?
