We want to release a new feature and test it with 100 customers. How do we segment them?

Question

We have a list of 100 selected customers that we want to introduce a new feature to. We have their email addresses. How do we (quick and easily) find the customers and define them to be the ones to receive the Series/Messages. Right now all I can see is manually adding their email address one-by-one under Rules in the Series. And this will take forever to do... any suggestions on an easier way to do it? &#128526;

Reached out to support as we are looking to start this pilot project very soon. And the solution is to import the users from a csv file and tag them. I did think that this was the solution but to be honest I'm not super comfortable about importing users. There is always the worry about overwriting some or the users details &#128550; It does seems like it works in our test workspace so I'm not so scared &#128513;
