Why does my Product Tour not move between pages when previewing?

In case the pointer for the next step in the tour is on a page different than the pointer for the previous step, while previewing the tour does not move to the that different page and shows the pointer for the next step on the same page.

 

Is this a limitation within intercom or does it have something to do with how the pointers are set up?

Just to make sure:

  • Your tour starts on Page A
  • Then at some point in the tour, the user clicks on a link (or button) to Page B
  • There you point at an element that is also available on Page A?

Or do did you navigate to Page B differently?
