To set up this bot, go to Operator > Task Bots > For Leads and click Qualify leads.
Here, you'll choose a simple qualification, which will ask everyone the same details, or an advanced qualification, which will request different details for different categories of leads.
Simple qualification will allow you to select data including but not limited to: name, email address, company name, company size, company website, and company industry, as well as existing custom data.
The advanced qualification Task Bot can ask leads a customizable multiple choice question to understand who they are or what they are interested in, then qualify them uniquely based on their answer.
By default the Operator will ask leads "What term best describes who you are or what you're looking for", with the answers to these questions recorded under "Lead Category" within Intercom. Other examples of ways you can identify leads include:
Then, just as you would for the Simple Qualification Task Bot, define the qualification data you'd like Operator to ask your leads (up to 4 pieces of data for each answer). You can read about how to set it up here
Hi @lisa b11 Thank you for confirming. This does work and looks really good! The issue I was having was due to Intercom not being configured corrrectly on a landing page we have for testing. My next step is trying out Custom Bot 😎
