I know when a new customer message the chat widget on the bottom right corner of the website, we can let them know the expected response time. However, is there a way to let existing customers (who are already in a chat conversation with us) know the response time? Thanks!

Customer expectations are important to manage. It is possible for a customer to see the response time for conversations while speaking to you on the Messenger, like so.
This information is not presented to the customer inside of the actual conversation. The only scenario where this would be shown to the customer in the conversation is at the very start of the conversation when Operator completes a task bot.
