Operator only suggests articles at the right time, when it knows it can help.
When will Operator suggest articles?
- Smart suggestions will appear once you have 10 or more live articles in your Help Center, all of which are sorted into collections, and your Help Center is live.
- Operator only suggests articles if a user’s question contains more than 5 words and less than 30 words (note: it doesn’t count words like ‘the’, ‘a’ and ‘is’).
- Operator suggests articles to users, leads and visitors.
- Your Help Center language must be set to English, and the user’s question must be asked in English.
How does Operator learn?
Operator uses machine learning to start understanding which articles offer the best answers to each question. Operator learns from your conversation data, so the learning rate is different for every business. One thing is certain — the more articles you send from the inbox...
...the faster Operator learns how to suggest articles! 😃 Operator will become more and more accurate over time, so try to make your articles as specific as possible. Think of each article as a match for a common customer question!
