How to export Intercom ID for all contacts? | Community

I would like to export the Intercom ID of all users - and the only documentation I can find is to do this via API. I am using Postman for this but I was hoping to find a way to get it as a CSV or something easier to navigate. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get this data?

There is no way to ‘export’ the ‘INTERCOM_ID’ for users/leads via CSV - you can only get this information via the API - https://developers.intercom.com/docs/references/rest-api/api.intercom.io/Contacts/contact/.

To export Intercom IDs for all your contacts, you have two main options—using Intercom’s built-in export or the Help Desk Migration app.

With Intercom

  1. Head to Contacts > All users> More > Export users.
  2. Choose export these users
  3. Check your email to find a CSV file. The link to CSV file will expire after one hour.

Note: The user export currently only includes the name and ID of the most recent company a user was tracked with

With Help Desk Migration

  1. Log in to the Migration Wizard and select Intercom as the source.
  2. Run a Free Demo Migration to see how the tool works.
  3. Contact a support team to request a speecfic customization AKA to export contact IDs in a specific custom field.
  4. Initiate the Full Migration with the custmizaiton included.
