Is there a way to automatically trigger a Slack notification whenever a new lead is captured in Intercom? I want my team to get instant alerts in a specific Slack channel whenever a lead submits a form or starts a conversation (Read More). Are there any built-in integrations or recommended workflows to achieve this?

I haven’t tried it myself, but setting up a worfklow for “When customer sends their first message” with the Audience set to “Leads” (like the screenshot here), and then having that trigger the “Notify Slack channel” step (like here) should get you set up fine. You can add some filters to that step too, if you’d like to reduce the Slack message volume (eg: add a pre-qualification step to the workflow by asking them the question that will help you prioritise reach-outs).
