Custom workflows - 401 Unauthorized

Question

We are using Jira for tickets with the basic mode. In it, I created custom workflows. I made several workflows, and they were working fine, allowing tasks to be created in Jira. However, at some point, all of them stopped working and started returning a 401 Unauthorized error. Even though we completely reinstalled Jira for Tickets in Intercom yesterday. Now, none of my custom workflows are working. I found articles where people reported the same problem. Is there a solution?

I would start by making sure the Jira integration was setup with an account that has access to the Jira project you’ve set the workflow up with. Maybe there are some Jira permission settings coming back on that end? We use Jira for tickets pretty extensively but I, myself, haven’t integrated any automated workflows yet.If you haven’t already, I’m sure a Jira support agent, or Intercom support (or both) could help pinpoint the issue and help resolve! Jira support might have a clue as to why they’re sending an unauthorized response with the specific action Intercom is taking with the connection.👍🏼
