Hello, I am looking to integrate intercom -> salesforce but would like customer's query to appear as a unique Case in salesforce and not a lead. Is this possible? Many thanks.

Actually, Intercom sends every new conversation as a task in Salesforce (Please, take a look at the following article).

 

If you still want to create a case for every new conversation, you should use Zapier for that:

Zap - Intercom New conversation <> Salesforce New Record (New Case)
