In our auto-onboarding series unresponsive users get tagged with ‘unresponsive’. We want to contact these customers by phone. Can a Hubspot task be created (e.g. call customer) on a company level once the company got tagged as ‘unresponsive’?
Any experience between Hubspot tasks and Intercom would be really appreaciated!
Hi
If you’re a subscriber to our Series with Webhooks product, you may be able to build this out within your Series.
After Tagging your User in the Series, you can follow that action up with a Webhook that makes a call to Hubspot. Below is a screenshot of a sample Series I built out that sends a notification to Slack when a User completes a Survey. Instead of sending a Webhook to Slack, you would send it to Hubspot. You’ll need to look over Hubspot’s API documentation to see how/if they allow you to create a Task and how to format that API call in the Series’s Webhook step.
If you don’t have experience working with APIs you may want to have a member of your team with a little bit of dev experience help you out with that!

To create HubSpot tasks from an Intercom series, you can utilize the integration capabilities between the two platforms. Firstly, ensure that the unresponsive users in your auto-onboarding series are appropriately tagged as 'unresponsive' in Intercom. Then, set up a workflow or automation within HubSpot to trigger a task creation when a company is tagged as 'unresponsive'. This task can be customized to indicate that a phone call should be made to the customer. This integration allows you to seamlessly manage your customer communication and follow-up actions between Intercom and HubSpot.
