Hi everyone! Is there anyone here using the Linear integration? We just added it and the search option to find and link a conversation to an existing issue or project is not working. It’s not showing relevant results.

A couple of quick things you can check to help:

The search in the Linear app inside Intercom is pretty strict: it only looks at issue titles and IDs, not the full description. If your keywords don’t match exactly, it’ll look like nothing’s there.

Make sure the Linear workspace is connected to the same team/project you’re trying to pull issues from. If you’re in a different workspace or project, results won’t show.

Sometimes re-authenticating the Linear app in Intercom refreshes the link and fixes stale search indexing.
If it’s still empty after that, it’s worth dropping Intercom support a note because they can check the API call logs on the backend.
Hi there! Yes, I’ve run into something similar with the Linear integration before. Sometimes the search doesn’t return results if the issue/project title doesn’t match exactly (Read More). Try using keywords instead of full titles, and also double-check that your Linear workspace is correctly synced. If it persists, reconnecting the integration usually helps.
