Sending welcome email triggered by Amplitude event

I want to send welcome​ emails to new users. I want use Amplitude event as a trigger to send the emails. I've set up an Amplitude <> Intercom data streaming via Amplitude's Destinations feature but I'm not sure what to do next. Can somebody who has done a similar setup please help me?

@jiho​ ! You should be able to identify the users in Intercom using any Amplitude attribute, right? If so, then you can use that attribute/tag/segment in the audience rule of your message. Since Amplitude is a third party app built by Amplitude, I would suggest you checking with their support here
