Does Fin show embedded videos or guides in its answers?

Hi, I am able to embed how-to videos or guides in our help documentation pages. Can Fin automatically pick these videos and guides and show them in its answers?

Is it possible today?

Hi @Vaishnavi — worth considering using Intercom's built-in Product Tours and triggering them straight from the Fin AI chat experience. Attention spans are dropping fast, and people would rather be shown how to do something in the product itself than get sent off to read documentation.

The trigger is pretty simple: Intercom('startTour', tourId) — you just need the Tour ID from the "Use tour everywhere" section of the tour editor, and make sure the tour is published with that setting turned on.

So instead of Fin replying with a help article link, you can have it fire the tour directly and walk them through it live, right where they're stuck.

@Vaishnavi hey we just answered your question live on the Fin Community Office Hours so you can watch the replay for more fun -- we asked Fin Voice on the Web about this live on the session!

But to answer your question, at the moment unfortunately Fin doesn’t embed video but you can embed the link to the article that contains video -- currently Fin only embeds images but I’m sure that will change soon!

Feel free to post this in Product Wishlist as well!

Thanks for a great question!
