Ability to use markdown in article editor

I’m sure this has been requested in the past, but I would like to bring it back up. As AI becomes more integrated into content creation workflows, the ability to use markdown to ensure consistent formatting across platforms and spaces becomes increasingly necessary. Please add full support for markdown in the article editor. Thank you!
