It would be nice to be able to include ticket content into a side conversation. For example the user’s last reply that could be used as information to be sent to a 3rd party.

Additional information from the 1LS team :

Description: We use side conversation for several tickets to inform other teams from our company, other customers - not related to the one from the ticket or business partners. When we need to start a side conversation, we often have to include relevant parts of the original ticket or customer email for context. However, the system does not provide an option to directly insert ticket content into a side conversation, which forces us to rely on manual and inefficient workarounds.

As a workaround, in order to include the customer’s message or ticket content, we must go to Gmail (but only if the email was sent to the correct team address—and not the default email used by Fin) and manually copy and paste the email content into the side conversation.
We cannot rely on Intercom’s “View raw email” option because the layout is difficult to read and not customer-friendly, making it unsuitable to forward or quote in side conversations.

Impact:
- This process is time-consuming and manually intensive.
- It introduces a risk of formatting errors or missing information.
- It slows down our ability to collaborate with other teams or third parties.
- Ultimately, it delays our response to the customer and affects overall efficiency.

Expectation:
We should have a built-in option to insert or forward ticket content directly into a side conversation, similar to how we can reply or forward emails in Gmail.
This would:
- Eliminate the need for copying and pasting.
- Ensure accurate and properly formatted information.
- Speed up internal collaboration.
- Improve our overall workflow and response times.
