Intercom is currently missing essential features that make multilingual Help Center management far more difficult than it should be:

  1. No media management system
There’s no centralized place to store, organize, or update images across articles.

  2. No multilingual media support
Intercom doesn’t allow different image versions per language, so we are forced to manage all localized images externally across multiple platforms.

Because Intercom lacks both of these basic capabilities, we have no choice but to depend on external media tools to handle multilingual images. However, even after doing all that extra work, Intercom still doesn’t support embedding images, HTML, or iframes, which means we can’t automate or streamline any part of the process.

The result is an unnecessarily complicated, fully manual workflow—especially when working across five languages. It feels like we’re doing a tremendous amount of extra work simply because the platform is missing foundational features.

Seems like after 3 years of people asking, this would be a thing already. Not being able to bring any custom documentation or other items is a definite drawback, especially when it’s not hosted on Intercom.
