Currently, we cannot utilize Intercom’s tables within our articles because of formatting limitations. Our current workaround is creating our tables as images and uploading them, resulting in process redundancy, painful updates, tool switching and limited searchability of our table data. Our team would love the ability to create tables with unlimited characters in each cell and merge and color rows.

Improved table formatting
+1We’d also like this functionality to be able to extend the boundaries of our table to fit the rest of each article. This is really causing a less than ideal experience with table data in our Help Center articles
I can’t make tables wider across a screen. It is very limited. And after dragging one of the columns, the whole table gets deformed.
+1More requests for table formatting from our team who manages our Help Center:
- Ability to merge cells in a table in an article,
- Ability to center-align vertically in a cell on a table,
- The toolbar disappears if you select more than 1 cell. We want the ability to multi-select cells and format them instead of formatting one-by-one. Example: We can’t center-align more than 1 cell at a time.
