Knowledge Base - Automatically apply Audience based on Source

In knowledge base, we have used our various educational resource sub-sites as sources for our array of product offerings. This works great!

However, when a new article is added to our sub-sites and they flow into the Knowledge base, we have to manually apply an Audience in Intercom. This has led to some customers getting served information by Fin AI that doesn’t apply to them if we don’t catch it in time.

It would be great if we could pre-set an Audience for the “Source” bucket and have that applied to every new article that populates automatically!

This is exactly what we need as well. Seeing that you posted this 3 months ago without a reply does not give me much hope that it will ever be implemented.

I did post a similar post myself hoping that it serves as a bump. Add ability to set an audience to an external page through the API endpoint | Community. Please upvote it if you can.

Agree - this is a huge miss to not have the ability to set this through the API. It would allow us to automate a significant part of our process and open up Fin to a much much larger user base than we currently do.

I would echo the above - this causes us quite a lot of pain as the automatic syncing of new website pages bleeds into all Fin responses and we have to constantly check for new content and manually change the audience each time which is really inefficient. Being able to set the default audience at a website content level would be a huge help.

I see a new option in sources for this has suddenly appeared. Is this a new feature that’s been released? Would be good if this was communicated out :-)
