The opportunity to store commonly used elements for reuse would save time when creating articles by eliminating the need to create elements from scratch each time they’re used.
For example, when using different callout boxes for different situations (let’s say a warning as opposed to an example) I have to create them from scratch each time. Stored elements would eliminate this monotony.

I could see something very similar to how Elementor works with Wordpress, where you can have saved elements custom for your environment and your color choices and format are set so you don’t have to configure them each time for things you need to reuse.
Article templates and the ability to duplicate articles would be helpful workarounds as well for this in the meantime but so far I don’t believe this exists yet either.

Article templates would be very useful, too! I could see article duplication addressing a similar issue to article templates, and could be doable to some degree in Intercom’s current iteration.
Dedicated functionality to content reuse (of any kind, really) would be helpful for article authoring.
+1Ability to reuse content will be such a game changer. I have been manually changing 100+ times for a recent feature name change.
