It would be extremely helpful to be able to publish multiple versions of the same help center article, and target them to different audiences. The primary use case for this is beta testing and deployment rings. Some features will eventually be released to everyone, but some customers/user groups get them sooner than others. It is not manageable to make duplicate copies of every single impacted article, then do a bunch of copy pasting and deleting.

Ideally it would work like saving a draft of a published article - click into it to see the updated version, and then eventually overwrite the current article with the updated content without breaking any existing shared links to the content.

I’ve asked for this in the past as well! Except my use-case would be having one single article, in multiple collections in our help center. So it’s only one content source to update, but found in multiple locations.

Your use case also makes perfect sense, and this would for sure be a great feature to the Help Center!

This would be very helpful. Right now it can be tricky to update an article in phases. Workin in SaaS we sometimes layer releases so one part is released first, then another part is released later. It would be super helpful to save multiple versions of an article so I can publish one, then publish the next one at a later time. With how things work now, I have to create a completely separate article and save it as a draft, or save it in the unpublished help center we created.
