Hi Team,

Can we please allow searching of ticket_id via API?
Currently, we can only search using the conversation Id.

It doesn’t make sense as the conversation Id is not exposed to non Intercom users.

 

We want to build integrations that would allow our internal team to check a ticket status using the ticket_id that they got from their customers.

We sometimes get escalation emails from customers that mention ticket ids, not conversation ids. I need to be able to copy/paste that email into an agent that uses an MCP server to retrieve those tickets. It makes no sense for me to have to manually translate the ticket ids into conversation ids for the agent to do it’s work. In the age of AI, this should be a no-brainer.
