It would be really nice to have a workflow trigger when a tag is added to a conversation

YES. I would like to automate responses and follow ups based on specific categorizations and can’t do it with any of the existing workflow triggers.

Adding our voice to this, we'd love to see tag-based workflow triggers as well.

Beyond triggering workflows when a tag is applied (which would be great as we currently use outbound for anything needing to be triggered by a tag), our biggest need is the reverse: automatically applying a tag based on a conversation attribute or conversation topic. Right now there's no way to do this natively, which creates a gap for us when it comes to segmentation and follow-up.

Our specific use case: when a conversation is categorised under a certain topic or attribute, we want a tag applied automatically so we can route those contacts into outreach flows or downstream processes (e.g. a re-engagement sequence, retention, a product feedback loop, or a proactive check-in). Without auto-tagging based on these signals, we have to rely on manual intervention or workarounds that don't scale.

In short, what we're looking for is:
1. Trigger a workflow when a tag is added to a conversation
2. Automatically apply a tag when a conversation matches a specific attribute or conversation topic

Both directions would unlock a lot of automation potential for teams like ours. Would love to see this on the roadmap.
