This is a known limitation unfortunately, workflows cannot perform actions on linked objects.
However I've definitely seen this requested before so I'll be sure to bubble 🫧 this up to the team.

Thanks for clarifying this, Emily! 😊 It’d be really helpful if workflows could update linked customer tickets too — that’d save so much manual work. I’ll definitely check out the Product Wishlist and upvote this feature!
