Can I build a custom launcher using Google Tag Manager?

Forum|alt.badge.img+1

I would like to know how to launch the chat from a button when intercom isnt coded into the webplace but integrated with GTM.

The article linked below shows a Java Code and not how to launch custom launchers from buttons using GTM installed Intercom.

See LINK: https://www.intercom.com/help/en/articles/2894-customize-the-intercom-messenger-technical

Can anyone help me?

Hi Roy,

I also encountered the same problem. I followed what you did with both methods, but the email client still pops up (which we don't want) and the Intercom chat is not showing up. What should I do?

Cheers,

Tori

Hello,

do you know if the same can be done if Intercom is implemented with Twilio Segment.

Perhaps using custom Functions?
