Hey guys!

I did setup a flow called “Convert trial users into paying customers” it looks fine but I want to have the following:

 

  1. See my welcome message & preview buttons on the bottom right corner right away before people click on the chat window itself to open it, How to do this?
  2. When i open a chat, i’m in an empty conversation, i need to click “Back” and open the conversation with AI agent to make it work. How do i make it chat with AI agent right away?
  3. Can i sync Intercom with HubSpot to send automated emails & submit forms?

  • The welcome message and preview buttons only appear after the Intercom Messenger is opened. The chat bubble is always visible in the bottom right, but there’s no built-in way to show the full welcome message or preview buttons before the Messenger is opened. If you want the Messenger to pop up automatically, you can use Intercom’s JavaScript API, but this will open the chat window for the user right away.

     

  • To have chats open directly with the AI agent (Fin), set your workflow to trigger “Let Fin answer” as soon as a new conversation starts. This way, users will chat with Fin immediately, without needing to click “Back” or select a conversation.

     

  • Intercom’s HubSpot integration lets you sync leads and conversations to HubSpot, but automated emails and form submissions require extra setup. For advanced automation (like triggering HubSpot emails or syncing form submissions), you’ll need to use webhooks, Zapier, or custom integrations.
