Duplicate/Triplicate Messages on Instagram

Hello!
I´m experiencing the following issue.
When I send a message, or reply to a message to certain Instagram accounts (only happens with IG), sometimes that message is sent 1 or 2 extra times. This represents a very poor experience for our clients and is very confusing and annoying when having a conversation.

Hope someone can help.

I’ve had moments where I just wanted to peek at someone’s public updates without logging into my own account, and using goonview made that quick since it doesn’t ask for sign‑ups. It helped me check trends and stories without tying anything to my profile. If you’re just trying to keep an eye on general activity without logging in, it’s been a handy tool for that.

Hey @Esteban González 👋 Jacques here from Intercom Support. I hope all is well today!

I know we previously had a known bug where Instagram messages were being sent as duplicates. As a first troubleshooting step, could you try uninstalling the Instagram app and disconnecting your connected accounts and then reinstalling and reconnecting? This might resolve any potential conflicts in the integration.

If the issue persists, I’d recommend reaching out to our Support Team with the Conversations that have duplicate messages so they can try tracing down where the messages are coming from.

Thanks a lot, Jacques for your help and your answer.
We´ll try that and I´ll let you know.

Have a great day!
