After every Fin update, the search history in the workspace is lost. We would like to retain this history.

I tried digging into this to see if I could find anything useful, but it seems this is expected behavior. Here’s what I found:
In the workspace, search history and filter selections are not persisted across reloads or updates. When the page refreshes (for example after a Fin update), the browser clears those in‑memory selections.
There isn’t currently a setting to keep a permanent search history.
According to Fin, the closest workaround is to save filters as presets so they can be reapplied quickly, but this only works for custom reports.
Note: saved filters are still in‑memory only, so they won’t survive a full page reload — they just make reapplying them faster.
I know this doesn’t fix your issue, but I decided to send it just in case it helps.
