I have one other question about attribute data and existing reports.
Namely: Why are not all attributes available to add in the reports?

 

In some cases we would like to export the drill down of both conversations and tickets, in this drilldown it's possible to add certain attributes as extra columns, but not all attributes are available. Why is that?

Is there a work around possible? Or a setting you can change to make this possible?

Checked with the company industry, and I get what you mean now. Do you pass any data from the CRM to this attribute? 

If yes, a workaround would be to pass it to a custom data attribute, and then it should be visible in the reports.

For example company industry is not a column we can add, which is connected to Organisations. But also the owner attribute which is part of People cannot be shown. This are just two examples, but maybe there are more?

Not sure what you mean with pass data from CRM to this attribute, for some companies this attribute has been filled.

I figured that work-around would work, I am just not sure if there are more attributes that cannot be chosen in reports (and why that is). I would think you would want any or all attributes to be able to add to a report.

Do you know if there is any logic or documentation about this?

@NickvanVliet I was asking if this attribute is filled in by backfilling it from some other system, e.g. your backend or a CRM :) 

I’m not entirely sure why this attribute is not being visible in the reports, and maybe other members of the community could shed some light on it, but I have a hunch that a workaround with using a custom attribute rather than a standard one would work :)

This is currently a product limitation. Not every attribute shows up in reports because reports only support a limited set of fields today, and that list can vary depending on the report you’re looking at.  
There isn’t a setting to turn all attributes on, but in some cases you can get more fields by using **Dataset export** instead of the standard drill-down export.
