Hello,

I work on a platform and they are using intercom for their live support chat. I am using for several months and it worked perfectly. But now for over a week, it keeps loading here: 

 

I’ve talked with them via email and even they’re shocked. They don’t know what’s wrong, neither do I. I’ve cleared cache, relogged in, and changed browser, nothing worked. Can anybody please help me out in this regard? Thanks in advance!

Since you’ve already cleared cache, relogged, and switched browsers, a few other things to try:

  1. Disable browser extensions – Ad blockers or privacy tools can interfere.

  2. Try a different network – Firewalls or VPNs sometimes block Intercom.

  3. Check browser console – Any error messages can give clues.

  4. Use Incognito/Private mode – Helps rule out cookie/session issues.

If the issue persists, sharing console errors with Intercom support usually helps them resolve it faster.

That sounds really frustrating. If the messenger keeps loading even after clearing cache and trying different browsers, a couple of things you could check are:

  • Make sure cookies and third-party scripts aren’t being blocked by your browser or extensions (like ad blockers).

  • Try opening the chat in an incognito/private window to rule out any extension conflicts.

  • If you’re on a company network, sometimes firewall or VPN settings can interfere with Intercom loading.

Since you already reached out to the platform’s team, it might also help to contact Intercom support directly with the console logs (from your browser’s dev tools). That can give them more details about what’s breaking.
