Is there a way to automatically send a Slack notification whenever a new lead is captured in Intercom? (read more) I’d like my team to receive real-time alerts in a designated Slack channel whenever someone submits a form or starts a new conversation. Are there any built-in integrations or best-practice workflows to set this up?

You can use our Native Slack App to accomplish this! The app allows you to automatically alert teams in specific Slack channels about conversation and ticket activity. The steps would be:

  • Install the Slack app from the Intercom App Store.
  • Authorize and connect your Slack workspace.
  • Invite the Intercom Slack app to the desired Slack channel(s).
  • Set up a Workflow in Intercom to trigger a Slack notification when a new conversation or lead is created.
