Is there a way to automatically send a Slack notification whenever a new lead is captured in Intercom?  (read more) I'd like my team to receive instant alerts in a specific Slack channel whenever someone submits a form or starts a new conversation. Are there any built-in integrations or recommended workflows to set this up?

Use the Intercom–Slack Native Integration

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Slack in Intercom.

  2. Connect your Slack workspace.

  3. Choose which Slack channel should receive notifications.

  4. Set it to notify when new leads start a conversation or fill out a form.

This is the simplest way and works great for most teams.

​@universal thread can I ask which CRM you are using? Personally, I found native Slack integration to be not sufficient, but there are straightforward way to push lead notifications from Salesforce or Hubspot, for example.
