Tagging teammate in a notes triggering Slack.

We have some team members that are not on Intercom all the time. However, some message do need their input. It would be great to be able to slack teammate when they are mentioned @____ in the notes.

And also, when the chat is assigned to the person.

Hi @Sueann ! It’s not possible to achieve this out of the box, but lots can be done using API and third-party integration tools. I’ve just finished a project with a similar deliverable and could help out here as well if you’d like to chat :)

Hey @Sueann !

The @mention-in-a-note half has no native trigger as far as I know. Workflows fire on conversation and ticket events but not on notes. I know mentions do already send an email and a mobile push via the Intercom Conversations app ...

Both of those are notification-only though. If you want those teammates to actually reply without opening Intercom, there's an app called "Backreply" (disclaimer, I built it) in the Intercom app store, so conversations post to a Slack channel, your team replies in the thread, and it syncs back to Intercom.

Hope this was helpful!
