List snippets using Developer Platform

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to list all snippets from our system? I would like to list them like I list articles (https://developers.intercom.com/docs/references/rest-api/api.intercom.io/articles/listarticles)

Best regards

Hi @Bartłomiej Górecki Paul here from weekend support engineering to help you out 🤝

Thanks for your question about listing all snippets in your system, similar to how you can list articles via the REST API.

Currently, Intercom does not offer a public REST API or export endpoint for listing all Knowledge Snippets. While you can easily list and manage snippets from the Knowledge Hub within the Intercom UI, snippets cannot be retrieved, listed, or exported via API in the same way as articles.

Key points:

  • The /articles endpoint supports listing help center articles, but snippets are not included in this list and there is no equivalent endpoint for snippets.
  • Snippet management (including review, edit, and organization) is exclusively available through the Knowledge Hub UI.
  • At this time, if you need a full list of snippets, this must be gathered manually from the UI. There are currently no workarounds for programmatic access or exporting snippets in bulk.

We recognize this as a common request and there have been multiple internal discussions about expanding API and export support for snippets. For now, if you need to review all snippets, please navigate to Knowledge > Content in your workspace.

If you have feedback or an urgent need for snippet export/API support, let us know—your input helps prioritize future updates!

Hope this clarifies the current limitations and available options. If anything changes or a new endpoint becomes available, we’ll be sure to share that update.

Thank you for your patience and do let us know if you need guidance on managing snippets or alternatives for bulk content review.

Hi folks! Didn't find an upvote, but if someone sees this thread, it would be lovely to, at least, have one way to export these snippets.

As far as I'm tech-aware, it seems that adding an export button with title/url/html content is not that hard for a company such as Intercom, which is one, nevertheless THE best SaaS/AI support company.
