Hi, I'm a new Intercom user. I was trying to open a new ticket from contact form, on my ecommerce. I couldn't do it with Zapier because Intercom app on Zapier doesn't have "create a new ticket".How can I create a new ticket using something like:1) Webhook catch information from form and create a new ticket2) Shopify send an email with form information to my inbox... How can extract Name, email address, subject... to a new ticket? I want to create a new ticket with customer information, not with my ecommerce information This is the email result from a contact form: Congratulations - you’ve got a new lead!Details submitted on your form can be found below.First name: xxxxxxxx Last name: xxxxxxxx Email: xxxxxxxsubject: xxxxxxx message: xxxx x x x x x x x xxxxxx x x x x Thank you
Hello! I'm looking for a way to fire an inbox rule when we close a conversation. What I'm hoping to achieve: When: we close a conversationIf: team assigned is XThen: assign ticket to teammate Y The idea is that the ticket remains closed, but assigned to a certain team(mate). Any suggestions? :-)
when I receive an email with an image, it turns it into a link? how can I have those stay as images? It's not the end of the world, but it's a little annoying.
Is it possible to @ mention a team or group of users to get notified instead of only one person?
We would like to know the number of emails that customer sent on a day and we've responded to. How to easily track this?
Bit niche but I'm looking at disabling the email that gets sent to users when they are added to an existing conversation chain. I just want an email to trigger when a message is sent instead
While I can setup SLAs, etc. I'm thinking of some way for there to be a call-to-action (e.g. an email sent/forwarded) to make the team aware as they may not be in Intercom 24x7

I would like to connect my email ID with Intercom so that I can get all the mail in the intercom. I do not know the process please help me out.
We receive service booking requests via multiple sources that route to Intercom Inbox via a noreply@company.com email address. However, when a customer service agent comes to respond to the inquiry they have to reply to the message with the original noreply@company.com email before being able to switch to their own email address, i.e. team.member@company.com. Is it possible to remove the need to respond to a message via the original (noreply) email address before being able to switch to the CS agents' address? Also, side question (and this may require me to ask a separate question in the forum), is it possible to prevent the entire conversation thread from being sent via email when a CS agent responds to a client booking request? Thanks in advance!
My team only hears the notifications of the conversations that are assigned to them, but those that are unassigned are not ringing and this is affecting our indicators.Attached image of the settings
For one of my teams, the sound goes off for new messages consistently. For the other team, which is for premium users of our app only, the sound does not go off consistently, meaning I miss my SLA/FRT on it. Do you know why this might be happening?
Is there a way to list all attachments from a conversation? Is there a way to search for attachments?
For example, I have an account on intercom and my email address is : @tolteck-test.intercom-mail.com. Could someone send an email (from a gmail account) to this address and I could receive the content of the email in the intercom inbox?
Ever since the update of the Intercom Inbox, our Timer wasn't there. We are having some delays in receiving our inbound chats as well on our website.
My workspace is not updating with the new feature, Tickets.
Messages from existing threads with clients are suddenly being sent to Spam, and this causes the team to miss out on their replies. What could be the cause of the this? Understand there is an option to mark the email as 'Not Spam', but keen to look into what the issue is to prevent this from happening again.
Hi, We are using Conversation data a lot and I enjoy creating custom reports based on them. But I'm missing the possibility to filter the conversations based on the data. Let's say I want to list all the conversations that have a specific value in Conversation data in a specific time period. I was not able to find any way to do so.
When new users signup, our registration process identifies a customer's value. We are looking to round robin higher-value customers among a specialized Sales Team. None of the customers have reached out to us at this point. Currently, the only way to do this is to use a Zap that identifies high-value customers and sends a message on behalf of the new user into Intercom in order to trigger the round robin. Any ideas will be greeted with smiley emojis!
HiI I'm noticing that replies to chats and emails have inconsistent 'from' fields when the replies come via email.I followed the directions here: https://www.intercom.com/help/en/articles/182-a-guide-to-sending-email-from-your-own-address/li>Everything on our domain (CNAME records, etc) is verified (green)We have a custom address set as our default for inbound (success@)We've selected the option to 'Use your domain and email addresses' on Settings->Email->Sender email addresses All of that said, when we conduct tests, sometimes replies are coming from the default email (success@), and sometimes they come from the responder (e.g. mike@). We've noticed the only time we can reliably have emails sent from the individual (mike@) is when it's an outbound email and Mike specifically chooses mike@ as the sender. In all other cases -- replies to chats, replies to emails sent to our default inbound (success@) -- the replies come from the domain default (suc
HelloHow is it possible when I receive and email to say to the client : "Hello We get your question we come back to you as soon as possible" ? :)
I've built an app that is returning a list of items with a formatted date like 6 June 2022 12:02am. I format the date on the backend side, so it's based on server's timezone. How can I get the admin's timezone, and format the items based on admin local time? Thank you!
I want to add a user to a conversation & remove another user from a conversation - how do I do this?
I've been using the new UI for a while now and about 1-2 months ago I vaguely remember seeing an update on how to manage recipients in a conversation in the new UI. But then after that, I seem to have lost the ability to do that.Am I just not seeing where that option was moved to? Currently, I have to jump back to the original inbox to manage recipients.
