We are able to define who can access a specific article. It would be great to have such option also on the whole Help Center level.

Use case - internal vs external documentation.

Hi @Libor

Jennifer here from Support

Could you elaborate on what you mean here?

In order for Audience Targeting to function appropriately, you will need to be using the Messenger in your product for logged in users, as well as having a custom domain with cookie forwarding enabled. This setup ensures that we are able to tell the difference between a logged-in user and a visitor or lead. (You can find the instructions to set this up here). Note that both subdomains (e.g. help.exampleapp.io) and subpaths (e.g. exampleapp.io/help) are supported.

After this has been set up, you can enable Audience Targeting within your Help Center settings > "Privacy" by configuring a login link that will encourage people to log in when they've attempted to view an article that is only available for Users:

Once that's set up, you'll be able to target your articles to specific audience criteria, you can read more about this in the article below:

Hi Jennifer,

Thank you for coming back to me. I am well aware of all this. We have it set in all our help centers. But we have to define the audience on each article separately.

My idea is to have the possibility also on the whole help center. For external documentation, we have almost all article open even for visitors. But for internal, it’s not just about logged-in users, but about a specific group of users (internal people). Setting it up on each article is a bit annoying and error-prone.

Please let me know if you have any additional question regarding my suggestion :)
