We should be able to create events from scratch before using them, because if we wait until they’re used, the first time that event is triggered, it doesn’t trigger any action—and therefore it’s completely useless.
Yes, we can create a fake event with code, just so Intercom has it, but I don’t think that’s the right way to handle this; it’s a workaround for something that should be possible to do from the Intercom dashboard.
