Right now, if you store a date in a people attribute in either unixtime or ISO 8601 format and use it in a message, it appears in “mm DD YYYY” format.
But this format is not standard for all countries; each country has its own date format, and it should be possible to adjust it so that it is displayed according to the customs and practices of the contact's destination country.
For example, in Spain the format is “DD-MM-YYYY,” in other countries it is “MM-DD-YYYY,” or “DD.MM.YY.”
Please keep this in mind. Thank you.
