Currently, round robin assignment includes all active teammates in a team inbox and doesn’t allow excluding specific users (e.g., managers or supervisors). The only way to remove someone from the rotation is to set them to Away, which isn’t practical for roles that should never receive assignments.
It would be helpful to allow admins to configure a custom round robin rotation where certain teammates can be permanently excluded from automatic conversation assignment while still remaining active in the inbox.
