Would be great to have some sort of Global Block.

A Global Block can contain everything that an article can: Text, Headings, Lists, Dividers, Images, etc.

The purpose of a Global Block would be to be used on different articles that shares the same “block of content” with they key feature, that if a Global Block is being used in different articles, changing its content from any of the articles, will automatically change all its instances across all other article where it has been used.

Hi @Eduard Ungureanu

Jennifer here from Intercom

Can you elaborate on why this would be useful for your team for our Product Team?

There are many use cases for content reuse like the original poster suggests. For example, we have some boilerplate text about contacting our customer success team that includes an email address. If we change the email address, we need to update that in a lot of articles. Same may go for a callout that applies to multiple articles. Or a callout at the top of articles to note which product the article applies to. If we have a glossary of terms, we may wish to include definitions from the glossary inline in an article where contextually relevant. And with reuse, if we refine or update the definition, we don’t need to play whack-a-mole to update in all the articles where the definition is used. There are many more use cases.

Content reuse is standard in most authoring tools geared toward technical writers. I believe even Zendesk has some rudimentary reuse capabilities in their current tool.
