Tab name showing "updates/fin replies`" should be configurable

With AI becoming more of an every day focus for my company, we are using tools that reference open tabs on our browser to be able to access content. If I reference a tab name I have a 50/50 shot that Intercom will either display the correct conversation title of what is actually on the tab, or it showing some update or reply from a Fin chat I have open. Example screenshot of the same tab ~4 seconds apart:

This should be something that is configurable in settings to keep the tab name as a single, static name. The only way to stop this behavior is to manually rename the tab. Please consider adding a feature that allows the end user to enable/disable this behavior.

I see I accidentally marked this as a question instead of an “idea”. I don’t see a way to change this myself. Apologies for the confusion if viewed as a question. It is a feature request.

Hi @Dominick, Seán here from the Fin technical support team 👋

Thanks for taking the time to lay this out so clearly, this is a strong write-up of both the issue and the customer impact.

I can see why this is such a blocker. Audience targeting does control who can access specific Help Center articles, including in Messenger experiences, and Fin also respects audience targeting when deciding which content it can use in answers.

Based on the current documented behaviour, the limitation you’ve highlighted is a real one, especially if the same topic needs separate article variants for different audiences.

Hopefully others can add their experience here as well, as that helps the product team better understand demand and review all feedback in one place.
