The knowledge editor needs to have an undo feature so if you make a mistake you can revert back to the previous version of the article.

Hi, Neil!

You can restore older versions of an article in the article editor. Just open the article in the article editor → on the right-hand menu click Show version history → click on one of the changes that were made → Restore this version button will appear.

Thanks Darja that’s good to know.

However, an undo feature will allow you to revert back if you’ve made a mistake between saved article versions and that’s what I’m talking about.

It’s a standard feature in MS Word, Notepad even.  Generally available in most software packages.

Feels like it could be a good feature request for the Product Wishlist to me ;D

Maybe someone from the team can move it over there and we can vote it up!  I think we’ve all been there where we make a mistake and not being able to revert back is annoying because you maybe had made a lot of other changes already that weren’t saved.  Another option that goes with @Darja ‘s suggestion -- if you save more often then you might be able to revert back to a previous version but keep in mind I think version history might only be available with certain permissions or plans, I can’t remember right now but just in case.
