We would like to push customers to experience the Messenger and not open new tabs or windows, we have in our UI links to entire collections, handy to present the overall capabilities related to an area of our product. But right now there is no support for a 'showCollections' Javascript API Method. It would be so handy, and will allow us to make the jump in using all the other javascript method for a messenger first experience!

At the moment, a showCollection method in the JS API is still a feature request. I can definitely see how this would be a useful method to have. We don’t have this update on our immediate roadmap, but I’ll go ahead and convert this to an Idea in this forum so that it is present in the Idea Exchange. We take input from our customers with great consideration when creating new features and refining our current solutions, so appreciate the feedback!
