Is it possible to add a copy action to a text area in an inbox app using canvas kit?

Hi @Diana ! Ebenezer here from Engineering Support👋.

This isn’t currently possible to do, I would love to bring this to our R&D team to see of this is something they can implement.

Could you provide more context on the use case for this? This would help our team a lot!

I built an inbox app to have stationary “snooze” notes on the sidebar that are generated from the last internal note with “#snoozenote” in the text.

The issue our team was having is we would leave internal notes for each other but they get pushed up by customer messages. It was getting annoying having to scroll to find the last note and teammates were tending to get “lazy” about leaving notes.

Now that the inbox app is present and working, we sometimes want to easily copy the note in that app to update it. There isn’t an easy copy action for that, which is just a bit annoying, especially when there’s an easy one for “copy email” under user data, for example.

Hi @Diana, It’s Mat from the Support Engineering Team 😀

Thank you for the feedback we will pass it to the Product Team along with the Request.
To manage your expectation we can't promise any timeframe of introduction of this feature though.
