Intercom react native with MainApplication.kt

Hi, recently updated to react native 0.76, so using MainApplication.kt instead of java. The react native docs only have guidance on .java version of react native. This is my stab at initializing the module. In app when I try to present the intercom messenger it errors out with “Content could not be loaded” with no error message or logs.```import com.intercom.reactnative.IntercomModule``````override fun onCreate() {super.onCreate()SoLoader.init(this, OpenSourceMergedSoMapping) // Initialize SoLoader first// Initialize Intercom after SoLoaderIntercomModule.initialize(this,"apikey","appkey")if (BuildConfig.IS_NEW_ARCHITECTURE_ENABLED) {load()}}``` This setup is unfortunately not working, but works perfectly on iOS. cordova-plugin-intercom v14 vs iOS

When trying to use intercom cordova plugin v14 with our iOS setup, and even after upgrading iOS to latest, the intercom plugin doesn't get detected, neither in the window.cordova or window objects. Intercom v14 + cordova-ios ^7.1.0 => FailureIntercom v14 + cordova-ios ^7.1.1 => FailureIntercom v13 + cordova-ios ^7.1.0 => SuccessIntercom v13 + cordova-ios ^7.1.1 => SuccessBut Intercom v13 has an error with Xcode cloud buildThe following URL schemes found in your app are not in the correct format: [OTHER_APP_SCHEMES_PLACEHOLDER, fb1477142632599929FACEBOOK_URL_SCHEME_SUFFIX_PLACEHOLDER]. Mobile carousel freezes the App UI rendering, Android

Hello Intercom Support Team,I hope this message finds you well.We have successfully integrated the Intercom SDK into both our Android and iOS apps, and everything has been working properly for the most part. However, we've encountered some client issues specifically with the Android app regarding Mobile Carousels.Issue Details:We have set up Mobile Carousels as a series in the Intercom dashboard. Issue with @intercom/intercom-react-native and expo-image-picker on Android

I have an expo project. Expo SKD - 51After installing “@intercom/intercom-react-native” and running “npx expo prebuild” command, I see the issue with “expo-image-picker” library. I always get in “permissionResult” false.After removing “@intercom/intercom-react-native” from the project, everything works as expected.

Intercom.client().getUnreadConversationCount() does not increment with new messages

Hello,I am experiencing an issue with the Intercom integration on Android. When I receive a message, the method "Intercom.client().getUnreadConversationCount()" does not reflect the new messages. Improve error responses for login methods in React Native SDK

Hi there! I’d been debugging an issue with our React Native app’s implementation of the `loginUnidentifiedUser` + `loginUserWithUserAttributes` combo, and noticed that while the Android module has a few descriptive cases before being generically handled by `IntercomError.getErrorMessage()`, the iOS module simply throws a blanket error for all failures.Is there a reason why actual request errors aren’t being bubbled up through these methods? For example, if the login failed due to the Identity Verification check, I feel like it would be reasonable to include that and the related code in the failure callback.

When upgrade intercom android sdk to 12.5.3, the app package increate 1.5M

When upgrade intercom android sdk from 10.3.0 to 12.5.3, the app package increase 1.5M I only want to support Android 13, but i don’t want to increase the app package.  even when i upgrade to 15.x.x， it increase more!

Android SDK - Registration vs UserAttributes class

Hello, I am not sure if I’m missing something but I encountered a bizzare behaviour using Intercom classes when trying to login an Identified user. Preface: I’m using Qt for Android and integrating Intercom purely on the Android side. In my login function, I get passed user attributes from downstream. These include base attributes as well as additional custom attributes. In the end I end up with something like.UserAttributes userAttributes = builder.build();Log.i(TAG, "Intercom login userattributes: " + userAttributes.toString()); Which prints out: I MyIntercom: Intercom login userattributes: UserAttributes{attributes={name=Last, First, email=email@provider.com, userId=001abc}, customAttributes={attr1=value1}, companies=[]} Then I tried to create a Registration class to perform login as:Registration registration = Registration.create().withUserAttributes(userAttributes); But this registration class does not have email nor userId populated? [Error Android] [React native 0.65] error: cannot find symbol new IntercomPackage(), build fails

Unlogged users can use intercom functionality with Identity verification turned on

Hi,We have been using Intercom for quite some while and with ID verification turned on, the intercom functionality wont work for users without an account. If the user has an account and logs in it works like a charm (user_hash is set for both IOS and ANDROID and that works without a flaw). When logout again and pressing the chat bubble, the intercom messenger does pop up but said something’s gone wrong and returns this error:[Intercom] ERROR - Tried to fetch composer suggestions but there was a network error (401) - Failed Identity Verification check This also happens when the app starts up and you are not logged in and have not recently logged out.Which is strange as the function used is Intercom.loginUnidentiefiedUser() (if this function is not relevant for ID verification than what is the alternative?)When ID verification is turned off again all functionalities work perfect (both for logged in and unregistered users) "react": "17.0.2","react-native": "0.68.5","@intercom/intercom-rea

We identified Intercom's proactive support feature as a solution, but it requires setting up a time delay based on user navigation routes.However, we are facing challenges in implementing this within the Flutter environment. Our initial attempts involved using events to track user time on pages, but this method hasn't yielded the desired results.I am reaching out to the community for insights or suggestions on how to effectively implement this feature in Flutter. Android Push Notification

We were able to setup Intercom using @intercom/intercom-react-native library on iOS and Android, but we’ve some questions for Android push notifications.We added the drawable icon and it’s being used but the icon used in the notification is different. Is there a way to change it? Do you know why Intercom’s notifications are not grouped with the notifications of my application?

The header is missing in messenger window when mobile app back to foreground

iOS 17react-native@0.72.6;@intercom/intercom-react-native@5.3.1 The issue is:Open intercom conversation window and keep it open Then move app into background (not kill) Reopen mobile app in foreground Will see the header (back / close button) is gone in intercom chat window + previous messages are all gone as well

Unidentified users attributes and conversations doesn't get automatically transferred over

Before user log in to my app```await Intercom.loginUnidentifiedUser();await Intercom.presentMessageComposer(`I can’t login blah blah`);```After user log in to my app```if (Platform.OS === ‘ios’) {  yield Intercom.setUserHash(user.intercom_user_hash_ios) } else {  yield Intercom.setUserHash(user.intercom_user_hash_android);}yield Intercom.loginUserWithUserAttributes({ userId: user.id });```When I implemented with `setUserHash` about the end of 2023, it was transferring info without problem but now it does not transfer anymore, when the user log in to my app, the unidentified account stays with the user. Any idea why it is happening?

The Intercom DialogMessage fails to load on both iOS and Android.

Hello,I am trying to integrate Intercom into a project built on uno platform (C#), but Intercom's chat is not working correctly. I carefully followed the steps indicated here, but without success.The error message I receive is as follows: "[Intercom] Failed to register or update user: Unable to resolve host "xf67****-android": No address associated with hostname" (applies to both Android and iOS).  As indicated in the guide, I made sure that the app has the following permission: "android.permission.INTERNET". What can I check or do?Thank you, I await your feedback.

Why did iOS notifications stop for the Intercom Conversations app?

Why the heck did iOS push notifications stop working for our entire team? Are you having some kind of outage? This is really untenable for us. Desktop notifications work fine, not sure about Android. But everyone on iOS stopped receiving notifications. Fix it for gods sake. Holy crap Intercom is buggy.

Intercom is not compatible React Native versions above 0.70. A `gradle build` command results in the following error. Where is the Admin setting to remove the requirement for an iOS passcode?

New Team to Intercom…. Team member does not wish to use a Passcode on iOS portable devices (iPhone and iPad)The error message when he attempts to log in using Google is: ‘UNABLE TO SIGN IN TO ACCOUNT Your administrator requires you to set a passcode on this device to access this account, Please set a passcode and try again’ So it appears that somewhere in Admin settings is something that can by pass this - can anyone help please?

Chat Failed to load on Mobile App (ios & Android)

There are several instances on which Chat window is failed to load on ios and Android Both. The intercom SDK used are as follow:react-native wrapper : 3.0.4android : 12.4.1ios : 12.4.0 EditedIf anyone has faced same issue would love to hear what have you done to fix the same.
