csv upload not surfacing some existing users


For years now I have tried to segment users with csv uploads. I find that often users wont surface in the upload that are on the list and in intercom. For example, my csv might include just emails of 63 users with finance permissions, then only 23 surface (when only 4 were dups and the rest are legitimate contacts in intercom). Any tips why some wont surface in the upload?

There might be several reasons why the uploaded contacts are not appearing in the Intercom. One of which might be that the syntax of the upload might be lacking some fields.

I’ve opened up a conversation in Intercom for yu to investigate this issue further.

There might be several reasons why the uploaded contacts are not appearing in the Intercom. One of which might be that the syntax of the upload might be lacking some fields.

Hey @mateusz.leszkiewicz,

 

I happen to be facing this same issue at the moment. I uploaded a .csv file with 48 users but only 42 got mapped into the segment. Whereas, there were no duplicates and all upload had all fields properly entered. Please help here.
