German Umlauts in redirect URL

Forum|alt.badge.img

Hey there,

we’re trying to redirect from our old helpdesk URL to the new site on intercom. The slug did contacint an “ü”.

We have redirection from:

https://help.oursite.com/de/grün
https://help.oursite.com/de/gr%C3%BCn

To an article on intercom.

Redirection (published and everything set correctly) seems not working, it just redirects to oursite.com/de

I would have expected a 404 if something is wrong, like when calling help.oursite.com/de/does-not-exist

Whats wrong here?

BR

Seems like every URL containing umlauts just redirect to home.

help.oursite.com/de/does-not-exist-öäü → 302 to home

help.oursite.com/de/does-not-exist → 404

Could you fix that please asap?We have many old URLs with umlauts which need to get redirected correctly
