I don’t want to use the default intercom.help domain for my Help Center and want to use my own domain instead, how can I set this up?

In your Help Center settings, under Set up the basics, you’ll see an option to input a Custom Help Center domain.

Firstly, you’ll input your new domain here. Remember that your new domain must be a subdomain. For example, if your website is www.test.com, your Help Center domain must end in test.com (for example, help.test.com).

Secondly, you’ll need to go to your DNS provider, and create a CNAME record for your new domain that points at custom.intercom.help. This guide goes into more detail on how to do this.

If you follow the steps in that guide, you should be all set. Keep in mind that DNS records can sometimes take up to 72 hours to populate!
