How can I change the email address that I use to log in to Intercom?

You can change the email address you use to log in to Intercom by hovering over your avatar in the bottom left corner of your Intercom workspace, then going to Your account > Your details.

 

If you normally log in with Google SSO, it's a bit tricky to update your email address, but there's a bit of a hacky way of doing it. Here's what you'd need to do: 

 

  • Log out of your Intercom account
  • Go to the Login page and request a password reset
  • Go to your email client and follow the instructions for changing your password
  • Log back in to Intercom using your email and newly reset password. You should now have the option to update your email address by going to the Your account > Your details section.
